Foos Side Project, Lieutenant, Announce Shows
Last week, we were all surprised by the news that Nate Mendel, the long-time bassist of rock n’ roll mega stars, Foo Fighters, 
would release a solo album in 2015.
Known as Lieutenant, the project’s first album from Mendel’s new musical adventure will be released in the spring through Dine Alone Records. Right now, fans can sample two songs: “Rattled” (via Soundcloud) and “Belle Epoque” (via the Dine Alone Records free winter sampler). So far, the results are encouraging.
Although next year will prove to be a busy one for Mendel and his Foos brethren, he has announced a couple of Lieutenant tour dates in the US.
On January 6, Lieutenant can be seen at the Constellation Room in Santa Ana, CA, followed by a gig the next night at Casbah San Diego. Tickets go on sale through the venues beginning Friday, December 19.
