Estranged AC/DC Drummer Attacks his Bodyguard
Instead of feeling lucky about no longer being charged with attempting to procure a murder, estranged AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd reportedly attacked his own bodyguard in New Zealand on Thursday.
Eyewitness, Leo Rojas, has told The Guardian that Rudd was following and attempting to punch a “taller, bigger guy.” This sizeable, unidentified man allegedly responded, “Look, I don’t want to break your face.” Eventually he pushed Rudd away, to which Rojas says, “He literally fell away like a fly.”
After Rudd’s bodyguard stepped in, the drummer reportedly began kicking and punching at him. Eventually authorities arrived on the scene.
While police haven’t confirmed whether or not Rudd was arrested, New Zealand news outlet, Sun Live, have published photos of officers handcuffing Rudd and taking him into the police station. The publication also reports that new charges haven’t been filed.
Oh, and Rudd has plead not guilty to the previous charges against him. I’m sure this incident will help his cause.
