The Dying Arts Supporting Anti-Flag on Canadian Tour
As Riffyou.com reported in December, Anti-Flag will embark on a brief Canadian tour this February to celebrate the 10-year 
anniversary of their album, The Terror State. Each night will see the band play said album in its entirety.
Attendees will also be able to see rising Toronto rock collective, The Dying Arts, on this run of dates, as the band has been booked as Anti-Flag’s tour support.
“2014 was a huge year for us, we put our first record out and got to see parts of the country we never thought we’d make it to. Big thanks to all the people who have supported us,” reads a note on the band’s official Facebook page. “We’re also stoked to announce we’ll be supporting Anti-Flag on the Canadian leg of their tour in February. Happy new year guys!”
Last month, we spoke with Mike Portoghese of The Dying Arts about the band’s roaring Self-Titled EP, as well as the struggles they had experienced while trying to breakthrough in Toronto and beyond.
“I hate Toronto because it’s so fucking cliquey here,” asserted Portoghese. “As much as there are a lot of people being very nice to us now, they weren’t before, so we didn’t get many chances to play bigger shows…opportunities were tough to come by. But, now it’s sweet to get them, because that’s all we needed: a chance to play in front of [more] people and have them decide whether they like us or not.”
