Dave Grohl, Corey Taylor Metal Supergroup Gets Signed
Teenage Time Killer, a metal supergroup brought to life by Mike Dean and Reed Mullin of Corrosion of Conformity, has signed a deal with Rise Records and will release its debut album in 2015.
The project will feature a ton of contributors including Foo Fighters leader Dave Grohl, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, as well a Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe, and Jello Biafra of Dead Kennedys fame.
Instrumental parts for the album have already been recorded at Grohl’s 606 Studio in Northridge, California.
“We had all these other folks that want to participate,” explained Mullin in a recent interview with New York radio station WFMU. “It’s a very good mixture of old hardcore punk, punk and metal stuff … People are going to be pleasantly surprised. It’s pretty cool.”
