Coheed and Cambria Releasing First Non-Concept Album in October
Coheed and Cambria will release its eighth album, The Color Before the Sun, on October 9 through 300 Entertainment. This will be the band’s first non-concept album in its 20-year existence.
“I kind of want people to know that Coheed can write that sort of record,” explained Coheed and Cambria’s Claudio Sanchez. “I’ve always said in the past that there’s never been a limitation on the band. It makes no sense to me to draw a line in the sand and never cross it.”
Fans can stream the first single from The Color Before the Sun, “You Got Spirit, Kid,” below. It’ll be available for worldwide download as of July 10.
