Coachella Attendees Getting Access to Real Bathrooms
Buying a bad burrito or dirty burger at an outdoor music festival is the fear many of us have when aware of the smelly, sweaty, messy, claustrophobic confines of on-site porta potties – let alone the long lines you need to endure to get inside one.
Now, Coachella has made the day brighter for its roughly 80,000 attendees by confirming that real bathrooms have been constructed upon the festival grounds. That’s right, real toilets with real plumbing.
In addition to the 324 private stalls, attendees who enter the 18,480-square-foot facility by the ‘terrace’ section of the grounds (although it should be next to the H&M pop-up store), will also have a surplus of running water to wash-up with; soap dispensers; hand dryers; toilet seat covers; and perhaps most importantly, ceiling ventilation.
If you plan on being on hand to see the likes of Jack White, AC/DC and Florence + The Machine tear up Coachella, here is a look at the bathroom experience that you can look forward to.
(At least until people dirty it up by hour three.)
