CMW 2014: Music and Broadcast Industry Awards Noms Revealed
Canadian Music Week has unveiled its esteemed list of nominees for the Music and Broadcast Industry Awards. The event, which 
will be held at the Kool Haus in Toronto, ON, on Thursday, May 8, recognizes “individuals and organizations that have made a significant contribution to the Canadian music industry in the past year.”
In all, 42 categories are featured, including: Station of the Year (for multiple radio formats/markets); Festival of the Year; Management Company of the Year; Booking Agency of the Year; Promoter of the Year; Club Venue of the Year; Independent Record Store of the Year; Digital Retail Music Service of the Year; Music Journalist/Blogger of the Year; Canadian Independent Label of the Year; Major Label of the Year; and many more.
Winners are determined based on votes from active members of the Canadian music industry.
Canadian Music Week runs from May 6-10 in Toronto, ON, and will feature headlining performances from the likes of City and Colour, M.I.A., Television, The 1975, Tegan and Sara, Ellie Goulding, Neko Case, and a ton more. Tickets can be purchased here.
