Brandon Flowers Releasing 2nd Solo Album in May
Fans of The Killers will have to wait a little while longer for a follow-up to 2012’s Battle Born, as frontman Brandon Flowers has confirmed that his second solo album will be released on May 18.
Titled The Desired Effect, the album was produced by Ariel Rechtshaid (Vampire Weekend, HAIM, Sky Ferreira), and will follow Flowers’ impressive 2010 solo debut, Flamingo.
In a handwritten note found upon his official website, Flowers said the following:
“Ariel and I have been collaborating in the studio, working twogether in the spirit of conversation, contention, and at long last, sweet contrition. No one has yet seen or heard the change. But soon, we all will.”
