Arcade Fire’s Will Butler Takes Lasers to Kids in “What I Want” Video
In Will Butler’s new video for “What I Want,” he and Jennifer Morrison (Once Upon a Time, House) find themselves in a grimy rock club overrun by rebellious children with attitudes as frightening as the clothing they wear.
However, Butler and Morrison can only handle so much before putting the kiddies in place with time-transporting lasers.
“Filming this video felt like a rock and roll laser tag birthday party,” explained Butler. “The kids were amazing-upbeat and hilarious the whole shoot. Such civilized anarchists. And-to mix metaphors, I guess-Jennifer Morrison was a real Albus Dumbledore, wise and unflappable and insanely talented. She truly classed up the rest of us muggles.”
