Arcade Fire Singer Serving Coffee on Valentine’s
Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler wants to help you spruce up your Valentine’s Day on Saturday by serving you a cup of RaRa Coffee, a signature brew in which he developed with La Colombe Coffee.
The coffee, which features beans grown in Haiti, will be served by Butler at La Colombe’s Hudson Square Café in New York City. However, his shift time hasn’t been confirmed. Since this announcement was made via Instagram, we’d suggest keeping an eye on the coffee company’s account.
Proceeds from RaRa will benefit Partners in Health, as well as Haiti Coffee Academy, an organization designed to support health and agricultural initiatives in the country.
For those unaware, the parents of Butler’s wife and fellow Arcade Fire member, Régine Chassagne, emigrated from Haiti. The band itself has donated over $1 million already to Haitian charities.
It’s also widely known that the exceptional 2013 Arcade Fire album, Reflektor, was inspired by Haiti.
