AC/DC Drummer (Allegedly) Likes Booze & Hookers While on House Arrest
Estranged AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd’s legal saga continued over the weekend after he was brought to jail for breaching terms of his monitored, eight-month home detention sentence. As you’ll recall, Rudd got off very light after pleading guilty to threatening to kill a pair of people and drug possession.
According to multiple reports – including one from the Otago Daily News – Rudd was caught possessing and consuming alcohol during his home detention. One condition of Rudd’s sentence stated that he could not indulge in non-prescribed drugs.
It has also been suggested that multiple prostitutes were at Rudd’s residence at the time of his arrest.
Rudd spent a night in jail before appearing in court to face these new accusations. He has since been released on bail, but has to appear before a judge on August 3 regarding this breach. Also, Rudd now has to partake in police-led drug and alcohol testing.
Naturally, he exited the premises by flipping off the media.
